Now that the trip is over, I’m writing a book!   Tentatively entitled “The Lean Volunteer”, it’s a guidebook for anyone with business skills who wants to find a small NGO / not-for-profit, and provide pro bono consulting services, just like I did in 7 countries.   I believe this is a a fantastic way of traveling – working with local folks gets you beneath the tourist layer, and lets you make a pretty big impact, if you do it right.   So I’m writing a guidebook on how to do it.   If you’re interested, drop me a line at dave@davidmeader.com.
